ABOUT Pleasant View Development, LLC was founded in 2005 by Michael C. Schexnayder and Kirk Rousset. Dr. Rousset moved from New Orleans to Pleasant View Plantation, located on LA 1 overlooking False River in 1986, and has raised his family there ever since. Dr. Rousset says his 20-minute commute to Baton Rouge is a relaxing one. Each of the two partners still maintain successful medical practices in Baton Rouge. Pleasant View Lake is their new, 50-lot gated community being developed directly behind Pleasant View Plantation, just across from False River. Each home site is situation around a man-made lake at the heart of the property. Southern coastal style architecture will prevail with metal roofs, 10-foot ceilings, open porches and balconies. |
